Crystal Sanchez
Crystal is a graduate of the Sacred Hot Yoga Method and began teaching right after training. She is the creator and founder of Hot Shakti Yoga and Co-Creator of the Sacred Heart and S.O.A.L Mystic Yoga School. Her passion is to share yoga and the healing tools she has learned along her journey with others and finds joy in helping new yoga teachers start their path. She is married to her high school sweetheart and is a mom to twin girls who help keep her grounded and show her how to enjoy every moment. Her classes offer a blend of different modalities as she is trained in Hot Yoga, Kundalini, Tantra, Buti Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Yin Meditation. Her powerful flows integrate magic and healing from each modality for a total body, mind, spirit experience. She states, “I am always striving for balance in not only life, but also in the type of yoga I teach and practice. I am a lifelong learner and am always looking for ways to expand and grow not only my practice, but as a person as well. I believe yoga and specifically Hot Shakti are revolutionary for those on a path of self-healing. It is my mission and passion to share the gift of yoga with as many people as possible. It has changed my life and I know it can for others as well.”
Daly Shuster
Daly has been teaching yoga for 8 years. She was trained at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. Her focus is on making yoga accessible to all people. She likes to connect body, mind, and spirit in each class.
Jennifer Smelser
Yoga has been such a wonderful part of my life for over 10 years now, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. I completed my 200 hour training with Sacred Hot Yoga Method and some advanced training in trauma sensitive yoga, as well as several types of reiki and healing modalities. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me. In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of healing and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others heal and love themselves more by nurturing body, mind and spirit with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, loved and balanced.

Stephen Hartsfield
Stephen is grateful to continue teaching at Mi Vida Yoga Studio. For Stephen, yoga has been significant in its ability to become present in the moment. Through a regular practice yoga has been able to quiet the mind and assist in regulating emotions. While yoga can offer a plethora of benefits to anyone who regular practices; it is this ability to regulate emotions and quiet a busy mind that Stephen attempts to bring to each class that he instructs. Stephen has called Mi Yoga home since 2015 and began instructing in January 2016.
Stephanie Cornelius
Stephanie originally started doing yoga to assist with soccer, prevent injuries, and help her balance. During the start of practice she was diagnosed with cancer. During her treatments yoga was something that she was able to continue doing. It especially helped with the connection of body and mind, and aided in her recovery as well. She loves yoga because it heals both physically and mentally. It has helped her gain physical strength, confidence and break through many barriers. "I love how Yoga has given me a sense of control and self-healing. Yoga helped me get back to myself after cancer, and I would love to provide a place where people can feel supported in their journey." Stephanie is a 200hr YTT hot yoga instructor, and has also been a RN for 20+ years. She has found that yoga and eastern types of medicine are supportive and preventive, and are great compliment to western medicine!
Ben Moser
I started practicing yoga about seven years ago when I took my first introduction class at UNM. After the first class I became hooked as I discovered yoga to be the perfect way to leave whatever was going on in my life on the mat. Since then I have traveled to Peru and practiced yoga in studios all across the world learning from various teachers. When I stumbled across Mi Vida Yoga through a friend I knew I had discovered somewhere special. As a regular attendee for the past three years I felt like I had found a home in a studio unlike any other I had attended before. This led me to finally take the plunge into my YTT through Mi Vida Yoga, graduating last October. Through their program and fabulous instructors I have learned how to integrate energy movements, breath work, affirmations and so much more into my practice that I'm inspired to share with others. I am so grateful to be a continual student on this amazing path and so honored to be able to step into the role of teacher in such an amazing studio and community.
